Zart Stretched Canvas Round 50cm

A round painting surface for mandalas, portraits and abstract work

The Zart Stretched Canvas Round 50cm, supplier code CB050, is a ready-to-use round canvas made from acrylic-primed cotton, offered as a different shape to the usual rectangle.

The Creative School Supply Company describes the surface as suited to acrylic, oil and mixed-media painting. The supplier pitches the round format at students, artists and educators, and suggests portraiture, abstract compositions and geometric designs, along with mandalas, celestial-themed paintings, modern minimalist artworks and layered mixed-media pieces. It is listed in a 50cm size.

Because the canvas arrives primed, students can begin painting straight away. The supplier says the round shape encourages experimentation and calls it a dynamic alternative to rectangular canvases. It also names group art projects, classroom activities and decorative wall art as good uses for the finished pieces.

Set out brushes, palettes and paint before the lesson so students can start on the primed surface straight away. Find more surfaces in art paper and canvas, tools in painting accessories and painting supplies, and the wider Zart range.
