Here is a box of 10 Staedtler triplus fineliners in 63 delft blue, a soft greyish mid blue with an approx. 0.3 mm line.

Delft blue is quieter than the standard triplus blue (3). On a busy page it lets planner entries, captions or diagram labels stay readable without the punch of a ballpoint blue. Artists use it for skies, water and the blue-and-white pottery patterns the name refers to.

Staedtler fit a superfine tip in a metal sleeve, and the three-sided barrel suits a relaxed hold. The water-based ink, according to Staedtler, washes easily out of most textiles. It is also one of the DRY SAFE colours: the pen can be left open for days without drying out.
