Staedtler Triplus Ball Ballpoint Medium Red Box 10 437 M-2

The Red Pen For Marking And Proofreading

Staedtler 437 M-2 is a box of 10 red triplus ball ballpoints with a medium line, sized for corrections that fit between printed or handwritten lines.

Teachers marking exercise books, editors proofreading a printed draft, bookkeepers querying a figure on a remittance and supervisors signing off checklists all need a red that is clear without taking over the page. A medium line lets a correction sit neatly above a word or beside a number; where a mark has to shout, the extra broad 437 XB-2 does that job.

The pen is part of the Staedtler triplus family, with the three-sided barrel they call an ergonomic shape for relaxed and easy writing, plus a conical metal tip and a ventilated cap. Staedtler describe the writing as particularly smooth, credit the ink with low viscosity, and say it dries quickly without smudging, even when highlighted. It is listed as airplane-safe too.
