Staedtler Noris Jumbo Triangular Wax Crayons Pack 12 Assorted 228 14 C12

Triangular 14 mm Crayons That Stay Put On The Table

Staedtler Noris jumbo 228 14 C12 is a box of 12 extra-thick triangular wax crayons, roughly 14 mm across, made for first drawing exercises.

Staedtler pair the extra-thick 14 mm diameter with what they call an ergonomic triangular shape. The flat sides give little fingers something to press against, and a triangle does not roll off a sloping desk the way a round crayon can, so children can keep going for longer without fuss.

The colours are described by Staedtler as brilliant, and the crayons suit a range of drawing techniques, from bold outlines to rubbing over textures. Every crayon has a paper sleeve in the striped Noris jumbo design that keeps fingers clean while colouring.

Staedtler state that the 228 conforms to EN 71 and mark it with a 4+ age pictogram. Younger toddlers may find the Noris junior 224 hexagonal crayons a better first step.
