Staedtler Mars Plastic Combi Eraser Graphite and Ink 526 508

White For Pencil, Blue For Ink On Film

Staedtler 526 508 is the Mars plastic combi, a two-part eraser with a white pencil section and a blue section for India ink.

Staedtler say the blue part is for India ink on transparent paper (vellum) and matt drafting film, which is where a combi earns its place in a technical drawing kit. Draw and correct in pencil with the white end, then use the blue end for small ink fixes on tracing paper or film without swapping erasers.

It shares the Mars plastic basics: 65 x 23 x 13 mm, a sliding sleeve for handling, minimal crumbling and little wear, and a protective PP film with a tear-open strip. Staedtler add that it leaves no discolouration on paper and is age-resistant.

Staedtler list the combi as phthalate and latex free. It is sold here as one eraser.
