Staedtler Lumocolor permanent omnigraph 236-0 is a white universal marking crayon, supplied as a pack of 12.

White solves the problem of writing on anything dark: black steel, dark-stained timber, rubber, slate or tinted glass. The surfaces Staedtler name run from paper and plastic through metal and glass to wood, leather and stone; wet wood and transparent materials are covered too.

The marks are waterproof and, in Staedtler words, have a high level of lightfastness, so the writing stays readable for years. Each crayon is hexagonal, 113 mm long and about 12 mm in diameter, and Staedtler state it is made in Germany.

White pairs naturally with the black 236-9, so a crew can mark both light and dark stock.
