Staedtler 488 48-9 is a 20 ml pot of black ink made to refill the Lumocolor permanent duo marker 348.

The 348 is the double-ended permanent marker in the Lumocolor range, with a fine tip of about 0.6 mm at one end and a medium tip of about 1.0 mm at the other. Staedtler say it writes on almost all surfaces with smudge-proof and waterproof results, and that black is lightfast and weatherproof. Black is the only colour of this refill in Staedtler Australia’s catalogue.

To refill, put the marker into the station tip first. According to Staedtler it can be used again after minutes, is completely refilled after 3 to 4 hours, and cannot be overfilled because it only takes its own maximum content.
