Staedtler 350-6 is a violet Lumocolor permanent marker with a chisel nib, in a box of 10.

With a chisel nib, violet works for both headings and fine notes. Draw the flat face across a tub label for a broad band of colour of about 5 mm, then tip the pen on its edge for a line close to 2 mm to add a name or number in the same colour.

It is a sensible pick when a code runs past the basic four, for example a sixth classroom group, a separate cost centre or a project that needs its own colour on shared shelving. Staedtler say the set ink stands up to water and rubbing on nearly any surface, dry within seconds and low odour, and say it can sit uncapped for days without drying, tested to ISO 554.
