Black Chisel-Tip Marker For Bold, Broad Marking

The Staedtler Lumocolor permanent marker 350-9 is one black marker with a chisel tip that draws a line from approx. 2 to 5 mm.

A chisel nib gives two widths in one pen. Write on its thin edge and you get roughly 2 mm; lay the full face down and it widens to around 5 mm. That makes the 350 the choice for carton addresses, pallet numbers, warehouse signage and headings that need to be read from across the room.

The Staedtler list for the 350 covers water and smudge resistance on nearly all materials, ink that is dry in a few seconds, a mild smell and a formula without xylene or toluene. Of the six colours only black is called weatherproof, and for lightfastness the catalogue quotes upwards of 10 years on paper for the black and green.

The marker is built for daily handling: the tip is locked against heavy pressure, the DRY SAFE ink survives days without the cap, and Staedtler use polypropylene for barrel and cap so it lasts a long working life. Pressure equalisation stops leaks on flights. Refill it with the 488 50 station. Staedtler state the 350 is made in Germany.
