Staedtler Lumocolor Chalk Marker Assorted Pack 8 344 C8

Eight Liquid Chalk Colours For Signs And Window Art

Staedtler 344 C8 holds eight Lumocolor chalk markers in white, yellow, orange, red, pink, purple, blue and green, a full palette for decorative board and glass work.

With eight colours the job moves from simple notices to illustration: rainbow and seasonal window scenes, birthday messages on a mirror, chalkboard menus with drawn borders, classroom displays and shop windows dressed for Christmas, Easter or a sale. The box front shows that kind of use, from a rainbow drawn on a window to a leafy mural.

Staedtler state the chalk is water-based, low-odour and opaque with high colour brilliancy, and that a damp cloth takes it off nearly all smooth surfaces. They also note that some 344 colours fluoresce under UV light, identified by colour codes 20, 4 and 5.

The bullet tip lays a line of approx. 2.4 mm. Shake and prime each marker before first use, and trial it on a small patch of any painted or porous surface.
