Staedtler Lumocolor Acrylic Paint Marker Assorted Pack 6 349 C6

Six Bright Acrylic Colours For Stones, Signs And Card

Staedtler Lumocolor 349 C6 is a box of six acrylic paint markers in white, yellow, orange, red, pale blue and light green, each with a bullet tip that Staedtler rate at about 2.4mm.

This is the everyday brights box in the 349 range. It covers the colours most painted stones, garden markers, cardboard models and hand lettered signs start with, and the white earns its place on dark timber, black card or slate where a lighter shade needs to sit on top. Staedtler describe the ink as a permanent, low-odour, water-based acrylic that writes opaquely on almost all light and dark surfaces, and list paper, cardboard, plastic, metal, glass, ceramic, wood and stone as examples.

A valve system feeds the paint to the tip, which Staedtler say gives a more even flow than acrylic squeezed from a tube. While wet, two colours can be blended or softened with water. Once dry, Staedtler list the marks as waterproof, smudge-proof, lightfast and weatherproof, and fresh colour can be laid over the top.
