The Staedtler 340 C12 is a box of 12 jumbo fibre-tip colouring markers in assorted colours for young children.

Staedtler make the 340 especially for small children’s hands: a thick barrel that is easy to hold and a stable, pressure-resistant tip drawing a line of about 3.0mm, ideal for colouring large areas. The water-based ink uses food colouring dyes in line with EU Regulation 231/2012, per Staedtler, and the thick barrel suits hands that are still learning to grip.

Ventilated safety caps conform to ISO 11540 and BS 7272-1/2, the polypropylene barrel is built for a long service life, and the ink washes easily out of most textiles. A box of 12 colours covers a child’s art kit or a small group table.
