Staedtler Coloured Pencils Tin 24 Assorted 146C M24

Twenty Four Shades, White And Grey Included

Staedtler 146C M24 doubles the basic twelve into a 24 colour metal tin, adding the shades that make shading and blending practical.

On top of the core palette you get white, light yellow, magenta, pink, violet, cobalt blue, cyan, sea green, light olive, golden ochre, burnt sienna and light grey. White and light grey are the quiet heroes: they soften edges, lift highlights and knock back a colour that went on too strong.

The pencils blend readily thanks to what Staedtler call a soft, highly pigmented lead, and the barrel keeps the traditional hexagonal profile. Staedtler give Germany as the country of manufacture.

Twenty four is the size most upper primary and secondary students actually use up, and the flat tin stands up to a school bag better than cardboard.
