Spencil Sonic Riptide Big Kids Backpack

Spencil Sonic Riptide Big Kids Backpack

Glowing lines of aqua, cobalt and violet ripple across deep navy, giving this Spencil backpack a sound-wave look.

Sonic Riptide layers fine neon wave patterns over a midnight blue base, so the front pocket looks like a music visualiser caught mid-beat. Navy zips, binding and straps keep the outline dark and tidy. It suits music lovers, gamers and tweens after something sleek and futuristic rather than cute.

The Sonic Riptide pack comes with five zipped compartments altogether, and the two main ones in this sound wave pack each have a double zip. Spencil describe a padded pocket within the Sonic Riptide pack’s largest section that holds a laptop up to 14 inches, secured by an elasticated velcro fastener. A handy clip inside the sound wave pack’s front pocket secures a coin purse, with the rest free for lunch money and keys. A water bottle sits in an outside sleeve on the Sonic Riptide pack, and a side zip pocket suits a phone. Bag tags clip onto the external D-loop on the Sonic Riptide bag.

For comfort, the sound wave bag has padded straps that adjust, plus padding across the back and base. A padded top handle is handy for quick lifts, and the interior of the Sonic Riptide pack is fitted with a protective lining. Inside the Sonic Riptide bag, a name label you can write on is fitted against the back panel, so lost property can find its owner. Spencil quote 43 x 30 x 25cm for the sound wave bag, with about 21.5 litres of room and a weight of about 620 grams.
