Samsung MLT-R116, Boxed as an Imaging Unit

The Samsung MLT-R116 is the part listed on our site as a drum unit. Its Samsung box, pictured, is printed R116 and Imaging Unit, and the photograph shows the unit with its green drum surface exposed.

An imaging unit is a separate part from a toner cartridge, and the box makes that distinction plain. We were unable to open a printer list for MLT-R116 from HP or Samsung while writing this, so no printers are named and no service life is quoted. Match the R116 code against the unit inside your printer, or against the parts list in its manual, before you order.

Stocking the imaging unit as its own line means it is ordered only when the printer, or the technician who services it, calls for a new one. Keeping a spare on the shelf also shortens the wait when that call comes in the middle of a busy week.

Other Samsung toner and supplies are listed in Samsung Toner Cartridges, and the Samsung collection holds everything we carry from the brand. Copy paper in reams and cartons lives in A4 White Papers and Office Papers.
