Black Chisel Tip Oil Marker from the Nikko 1800 Series

The Nikko 1801 is a black chisel tip marker from Series 1800 of the Nikko Oil Marker, suited to bold carton lettering and broad strokes; the distributor sells it by the dozen.

Australasian Merchandisers, Nikko’s Australian distributor, says the hard wearing acrylic fibre chisel tip lets you write in three thicknesses from the one nib. The distributor describes fast drying, water proof, permanent ink for surfaces including metal, glass and wood. The yellow barrel reads Nikko Oil Marker and Cap Firmly When Not In Use.

Black suits destination codes on cartons, bay labels and shelf signs. The distributor warns that the ink cannot be removed from many porous surfaces such as vinyl and carpet, so take care near upholstery, flooring and anything that will be reused.
