Beautiful fountain pen friendly Italian stationery sets, with 5 sheets of writing paper and 5 matching envelopes per pack, available in 16 different designs/colors.

The Kartos Writing Set collection, handcrafted in Tuscany since 1955, is the gold standard for Italian correspondence. While Kartos is most famous for its standard 10-pack portfolios, they also produce high-quality 5-pack note sets and gift wallets, ideal for short, meaningful messages.

These sets feature high-quality cream paper (often 200gsm for cards or 90gsm for sheets) that is fountain pen friendly and adorned with lithographic gold powder printing.

Product Specifications & Experience

• Set Contents: Typically contains 5 exquisitely decorated cards (or folded notes) and 5 matching lined envelopes.

• Gold Powder Finish: Kartos is world-renowned for its use of genuine gold dust in the printing process, which creates a subtle, tactile shimmer on the page.

• Paper Performance: The paper is specifically designed to prevent bleed-through and feathering, making it a favorite for calligraphers and fountain pen enthusiasts.

• Presentation: Often sold in a matching cardboard portfolio or a compact “wallet” set, making them perfect for travel or as a refined gift.

The Enthusiasts Note: “The 5-pack sets are the perfect way to sample the ‘Kartos Experience.’ The paper has a unique ‘chamois’ (soft cream) tone that makes your ink colors look warmer and more historical. It’s the closest thing to writing on a Renaissance fresco.”
