Helix Oxford Spring Bow Compass

Helix Oxford Spring Bow Compass, ACCO Code 0352490

Listed by ACCO Brands Australia for older students and professionals, the Helix Oxford Spring Bow Compass, ACCO code 0352490, is a self-centring spring bow compass with a thumb wheel for fine setting.

A spring bow compass holds its radius on a threaded bar between the legs, set by turning a centre wheel. ACCO says the thumb wheel allows micro setting adjustments. The blister card prints Includes Removable Point and Spare Lead, and our photos show a small tube of spare lead beside the compass.

ACCO describes the self-centring spring bow as giving precise, balanced drawing, and the thumb wheel lets the radius be adjusted in small steps rather than by pulling the legs apart by hand. ACCO also calls the design modern and ergonomic.

Other compasses are listed under geometry compasses, and full maths sets under geometry kits. Circle and ellipse templates and the rest of the range sit under Helix, with rulers under rulers and geometry.
