Derwent Watercolour Pencils Assorted Tin 12

Derwent Watercolour Pencils in a tin of 12

A tin of 12 Derwent Watercolour Pencils with soft, wax-based, water-soluble leads that can be used dry or turned into watercolour with water.

Twelve Derwent Watercolour Pencils come in this tin, combining the control of a pencil with the watercolour medium. The leads are soft and wax-based, so colour can be blended and layered dry. Mix with water and the marks turn into colour flows; because watercolour is not permanent, a dried area can be re-wet and moved again. Derwent describes them as less bright than Inktense, for more subtle painting.
