Sepia is a tone long associated with antique drawings and photographs, and it gives line work a warmth that feels softer than black. This four-pen set covers 0.05 / 0.1 / 0.3 / 0.5 mm. Copic describe the pigment-based ink as alcohol resistant when dry, so Copic marker colour can be layered over your sepia drawing once the line has set.

Sepia line work suits urban sketching, travel journals, botanical plates and portraits where black would feel too crisp. Using the four widths, you can build tone through hatching with the finer pens and define silhouettes with the 0.5 mm. The caps are tinted to match the ink.
