A Nail Free Hook for Frames With a Hanging Wire

The Command Wire Back Picture Hanger 17041 takes a frame strung with picture wire up to 2.2kg, holding it on a smooth indoor wall without nails, screws or a drill.

3M Australia lists the 17041 as holding up to 2.2kg and suitable for frames with wire-back attachments, with 1 hanger and 2 large strips in the pack. The pack in our photographs prints frames up to 28 x 43cm. The curved hook at the base catches the wire, so the frame hangs as it would from a nail.

Keep the wire on the frame and hang it straight away, rather than fitting strips to the back. The strip removes cleanly, so offices, rentals and classrooms can move a print without patching the wall. 3M says it holds on painted walls, finished wood, glass, tile, metal and other smooth surfaces.
