Columbia Copperplate Lead Pencils Hexagonal 2H Pack 2

Copperplate 2H Pencils, Two to a Pack, for Line Work

Columbia Copperplate 61700C2H packs 2 hexagonal 2H graphite pencils for drawing boards, workshop benches and anyone who keeps a 2H on hand. ACCO Brands sums up the 2H grade as precise, sharp lines.

A red finish closed off by a dark brown cap is the look ACCO attaches to Copperplate, which it names its flagship Columbia series. ACCO records a hexagonal barrel and graphite lead colour for this code. In ACCO’s photography the gold print on each barrel reads columbia, copperplate and 2H, which lets you check the grade at a glance in a jar of mixed pencils.

ACCO credits the lead with smooth writing performance and says it sharpens easily without crumbling, the same promise carried by the printed points on ACCO’s current hang pack. That pack shows a red 2H panel, while the older blister photographed here reads 2 Copperplate 2H Pencils and highlights 2H on a printed grade scale.

The 2H box of 20 sits in the Columbia collection for larger orders, the lead pencils page lists the other grades on offer, and erasers clean up construction lines once a drawing is finished.
