Columbia Copperplate Lead Pencils Hexagonal 2B Pack 2

Copperplate 2B Pencils in a Pack of Two

This Columbia Copperplate pack, code 61700C2B, contains 2 hexagonal pencils in the 2B grade, which ACCO Brands describes as smooth, dark lines. It suits a writer or sketcher who wants a couple of 2B pencils rather than a box of 20.

ACCO positions Copperplate as the flagship of the Columbia pencil family and identifies it by a red barrel that ends in a dark brown cap. The listed barrel profile is hexagonal and the core is graphite. ACCO’s studio photos show the 2B marking printed in gold beside the columbia and copperplate names, with a white ring where the red paint meets the cap.

ACCO rates the lead as high quality with smooth writing performance, adds that it sharpens easily and does not crumble, and says Copperplate is meant for professional as well as personal use. Across the header of its current hang pack sits the printed line 2 Premium Pencils, then a red 2B panel above leads don’t crumble, easy to sharpen.

Add another grade from drawing pencils, pick up the 2B box of 20 through the Columbia collection, or look through student stationery for erasers and sharpeners to go with it.
