Four Platens, Four Messages, One Self-Inking Stamp

Shiny 9S800 is a self-inking D.I.Y stamp kit, distributed in Australia by Staedtler, that sets up to four lines of text in 3mm or 4mm rubber type.

Its point of difference is the four removable platens. Each platen holds its own layout, so you can set a return address on one, a payment note on another and a department name on a third, then clip whichever one is needed into the printing stamp. The blister card calls them additional platens for multiple phrases.

The kit contains a 3mm text rubber with 328 characters and a 4mm text rubber with 256 characters, according to Staedtler Australia’s catalogue, so smaller lines can carry phone numbers or email addresses under a larger name. The printing stamp is self-inking; two stamp pads are supplied and Staedtler note the kits are pre-inked and refillable with Shiny supreme inks.
