The Eight-Colour Broad Lumocolor Set

Staedtler 314 WP8 holds eight Lumocolor permanent broad pens, from yellow and orange through red, violet, blue and green to brown and black.

Eight distinct colours cover a full week of rosters plus a spare, eight departments on a warehouse map or eight teams on a project board. Yellow and violet are the two shades the six-pen wallet leaves out, and yellow in particular shows on dark plastic and black bins where darker inks disappear.

The broad tip lays down roughly 1.0 mm on its edge or 2.5 mm across its face, according to Staedtler, so one pen handles both a part number and a bold arrow. The ink is permanent and low in odour, waterproof and smudge-proof on almost every surface, and it is suitable for overhead film. A pen left open for days keeps a wet tip, the DRY SAFE promise, while the tip stays locked in the barrel and the pens are airplane-safe. Black carries Staedtler’s lightfast and weatherproof rating; treat the colours as indoor inks.

The clear wallet stands up as a desk holder. Staedtler state the pens are made in Germany.
