Black Bullet-Tip Permanent Marker For Labelling Almost Anything

Staedtler Lumocolor permanent marker 352-9 is a single black marker with a round bullet tip giving a line of approx. 2 mm.

The 352 is the round-nib partner of the chisel 350. A bullet tip writes the same width in every direction, which keeps handwriting, numbers and arrows even on boxes, bags, folders, cables and storage tubs. Staedtler say the ink resists smudging and water on nearly every surface and is dry within seconds, so left-handed writers do not drag it across the page.

For outdoor jobs black is the colour to buy, because it is the one Staedtler call weatherproof; their trade catalogue also gives black a lightfastness of more than 10 years on paper. Staedtler describe the ink as low in odour and made without xylene or toluene.

Practical details matter on a busy bench. The DRY SAFE ink can be left uncapped for days without drying up, pressing hard will not shove the nib back into the barrel because Staedtler lock it in place, and the polypropylene body is built to last. When it runs low, the 488 50 refill station tops it up. Staedtler state it is made in Germany.
