Zart Kneadable Art Eraser

A soft kneadable eraser that lifts charcoal and graphite

Zart Kneadable Art Eraser, supplier code ER199, is a single soft, pliable kneadable eraser measuring 38 x 43mm and 8mm thick, from The Creative School Supply Company.

The supplier describes the eraser as designed to absorb, or pick up, drawing pigments and leave no residue, crumbs or dust. It explains that kneadable erasers remove pigment sitting on top of the paper, so the surface underneath is not damaged. The eraser is listed for charcoal, pencil and graphite media, and is sold singly.

Knead and warm the eraser with your fingers to make it pliable, then shape it to suit the job, as the supplier directs. It holds its shape during use, which the supplier says suits erasing fine details, lines and strong edges. Use it to correct, to lift highlights or to work a reductive drawing.

Mega also lists the Zart Eraze class pack for general pencil corrections. Pair it with compressed charcoal and soft blacklead pencils for tonal work, and browse erasers, charcoal drawing pencils, drawing supplies and Zart.
