Staedtler Triplus Ball Ballpoint Extra Broad Black Box 10 437 XB-9

Extra Broad Black For Writing That Has To Be Read At A Glance

Staedtler 437 XB-9 is a box of 10 black triplus ball pens with the extra broad (XB) line, the heaviest of the three widths in the range.

An extra broad ballpoint lays down a thick, dark stroke, so it earns its place wherever writing must be picked out quickly: a signature block, a name on a folder spine, a heading across a page of notes, a sign-in sheet at the front counter, or a label on a storage tub. People with large, loose handwriting often find a broad line looks neater than a fine one.

The barrel has three flat faces, which Staedtler present as an ergonomic shape for relaxed and easy writing. A ventilated cap covers the conical metal point. Staedtler describe the ink as fast drying and free of smudging, and the Australian catalogue notes it holds up under a highlighter. It is also listed as airplane-safe.

More heavy-line options are in broad tip ballpoint pens, and the rest of the range sits in triangular barrel pens, ballpoint pens and Staedtler.
