Slice Safety Cutter

Pocket Sized Safety Cutter for Packages and Paper

The Slice Safety Cutter is a small green ceramic-bladed opener that Slice markets with the slogan no more scissors, for blister packs, tape seals and everyday paper jobs.

Slice designed this cutter around a tiny fixed micro-ceramic blade set into an ABS plastic housing, according to its sell sheet, with a cutting depth of about 0.5mm. The housing has a non-slip finish, a built-in magnet and a key ring hole, and Slice lists it as ambidextrous, lightweight and compact. The blade is not replaceable.

Slice says the cutter clips, cuts and opens paper, rolls, labels and hard plastic packs, as well as bags, tape seals and shrink-wrap. It calls the blade finger-friendly and states Slice ceramics stay sharp up to 10 times longer than steel. The magnet lets it sit on a fridge or steel shelf.

It slips onto a key ring, so it is easy to keep at reception, the mailroom or a retail counter. Keep one with packing tapes in the dispatch area, see larger cutters and knives, and browse craft supplies for paper projects.
